Hi all, I am a high school senior who is deciding between these two schools. I have gotten into Georgetown where I would pursue an economics major in the College. After speaking with the regional admissions officer, I've determined it would be fairly easy for me to transfer to the McDonough School of Business if I wanted to. Firstly, is transferring to MSB worth it? Or will I have ample opportunities for consulting/i-banking as an econ major in the college? Regardless, I love Georgetown's location, vibe, and internship opportunities. My other option is CMU Tepper. I do believe the quantitative focus of CMU's business degree will have tremendous value in the future. Additionally, as a Bay Area resident, I do at some point want to return to Silicon Valley, and I think CMU would give me the best opportunities/network there. Overall, my gut says Georgetown but my mind says CMU. Any advice? Thanks
