California signs into effect a bill mandating "ethnic studies" courses at CSUsAXIS495August 23, 2020 - 8:33pm

It's honestly funny how adamant the radical left is about integrating "ethnic studies" into school when most of them don't study and have never read a book before. These woke idiots equate "ethnic studies" with the bite-sized revisionist propaganda promulgated on Instagram and Snapchat; most of them have never taken a real history class built upon the analysis and explication of primary and secondary sources. They don't understand that if one want to share their opinion, they must provide evidence. The way I see it, this additional "ethnic studies" class is certain to devolve into a liberal echo chamber of indoctrination, a catalyst to further the spectre of cancel culture and liberalism already looming over our nation. We should be doing just the opposite — teaching real history and imparting real skills. All this information one can literally find in world, European, or US history classes. Teach them to think critically; to question the information they see; to synthesize different sources; to conduct research. Give them the tools they need to become scholars capable of coming to their own conclusions rather than just parroting leftist revisionist bullshit.

Berkeley does something similar with their AC courses. It's an easy A for just about everyone.

I thought we've been over this, everyone in CA government is a libtard of the highest order.  Can't wait to see the mass exodus of the upper tax bracket similar to NYC and watch the whole place collapse in on itself trying score on that forever moving goalpost of being woke.  Did you catch the new retroactive tax they'll try to apply even if you leave the state?  It reeks of desperation.

Don't go to a CSU but I would welcome this at my school. Don't know about the principle of being forced to take a course like this, but it sounds like an easy A and a GPA booster imo. Definitely doesn't sound that interesting or exciting, but it's probably really easy.
