Currently in an allocator role with a large corporate pension ($30B+ - F100 company). Attended non-target (SEC - it just means more) undergrad with 3.2 gpa and have CFA. I have corporate finance experience with a small company, but seems like I really have no shot at IB gig without getting a top 20 MBA.
GRE Score: Writing 5/Verbal 165/Quant 162
Considering UT McCombs and Vanderbilt as I am in the southeast and have decent connections to both. My thinking is I have a good chance to get in those two with my scores, regional connection and experience.
What are the realistic prospects of landing a BB or solid second tier IBD role from either of those two schools with my background? Any other suggestions of other schools I have a chance to get into as well?
