Former Big4 Advisory- next step before B-School

Hi all, I wanted to get your insight on a good next step before applying to B-School (M7) in a 2-3 years. I have been working internationally at a Big 4 for 2.5 years in Risk Advisory. I am looking to have one more job before applying to a M7/Top 10 B-School. I am currently looking at Market Risk positions but am wondering if a back office roll would not be the way to go if I hope to get in. Especially because I am coming from a non-target liberal arts school (varsity athlete) with a 3.5 GPA. How crucial is it to get a big name on my resume for my next job? Would it be better to look into a FO position at a smaller firm or a MO position at a BB? Thanks in advance and tread lightly!!!!!
