I'm currently a student earning a full-time MSF at the University of Rochester's Simon Business School. I'm aiming for getting a FT or Summer Associate gig after I finish this May. What are your thoughts on the MSF vs. another top MBA? My program ranks 5th, my school's MBA is 12th for finance. Is it worth doing the MBA at Simon after? Or a different top school? Why do people give a damn about MBA's concentrating in finance when top MSF degree's are more detailed, focused, etc. in finance. Without factoring in work experience, it seems MBA's are still preferred though they are more broad. Thanks.
