So, I'm trying to plan out my future the best I can, and if anyone helps me I'll definitely send you an edible arrangement in the future when I become wealthy.
I'll be receiving my BA in Liberal Arts from a non-target with a 3.3 - 3.4 GPA. I've taken a practice GMAT cold and got a 740. I know it's a practice but I think it says something about my aptitude.
Being my senior year, I was able to obtain a B2B sales role in one of the hottest startups ever and will be finishing my degree concurrently/online for my final semester to pursue this opportunity, and based on my past experience working full time through school I think I can absolutely KILL it at this company. I figure this could be good hook seeing as I'm literally going to have a year of brand name experience before graduating.
Ultimately I want to get an MBA from a top school (ivy or top 20) and pursue a career after getting 2-3 years in B2B SaaS sales. What are some post-MBA roles which where I could utilize my experience (or it could be looked upon favorably) and make good money (300K+). Would something like consulting be a possibility or even venture capital? Or would it be a long shot to re-brand and try to get into IBD? I'm just lost as I know that sales isn't really relevant to those fields.
What would you suggest for someone who loves business strategy, market research, client interaction and analytic (albeit sales data). Where would I thrive and have a shot? Also suggestions on the best MBA choices would be great.
Will SB any posters who can help me plan out the next decade for me haha.
