Hey everybody! I was wondering which Masters in Finance have the best track to a career in IB. I'm a recent grad from a top-tier LAC, 3.3 undergrad GPA (played a varsity sport and double majored). I don't have a finance or quant background, although I did the Tuck Bridge Program last summer. I just started as an analyst working in strategy at a well-known financial services company in NYC, but I really want to work in IB. I'm interested in a few programs:
US: Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, and Villanova
Europe: Imperial, ESADE, Boconni, and HEC
I just enrolled in a Kaplan GMAT Prep Course, and without studying my baseline score was a 640. Looking at applying in November, I've got 3 months to study with the Kaplan Self-Guided course and they say they average an 80 point improvement, so I'm thinking I'll probably score about a 700 or so.
I don't have a preference in location, although NYC or London would be ideal.
I was looking at a lot of threads, but there hasn't been much posted recently. Anything you have to share would be helpful! Thanks a lot!
