Currently a fourth year student in a top Canadian business undergrad program. I have an overall 3.5/4.0 GPA, 750 GMAT, 2 decent internships. Goal is to work in Asia (China, Hong Kong, Singapore) for PE.
Looking at finance-related masters right now to get a better school brand/network.
I have a good amount of math courses under my belt, so I am eligible for financial engineering programs, but would much rather go for a more generalist finance program since I do not foresee myself working in a quant role. Preference is to be in the US but I heard good things about some UK programs.
Currently on my list in order of preference are:
MIT Master in Finance
Oxford Master in Financial Economics
London Business School Master in Financial Analysis
Berkeley Master in Financial Engineering
Columbia Master in Financial Engineering
What are some other solid US programs out there that I'm missing? And what school would be the best bet for me, assuming I get in, especially if I'm not looking to work in Europe/US afterwards? Thanks so much everyone for your help.
